I have triggered this package to become orphaned, so a new volunteer can adopt it and update it.

When joining server and trying to download non-pak0/1 map it fails due missing directory /opt/quake/qw/maps

note, you'll need to use pacman --force for the new version - looks like some files changed. i'll look into it further next week

delete it and try again, working for me. if it fails the validity check, that usually means it didn't download properly.

are you using a non-default mirror?

EDIT:

actually, confirmed - those bastards did it again. they REALLY need to version their files.
