There was a problem with upstream tagging. It seems to be resolved now. I'll consider revising
pkgver()
if it happens again.micwoj92 commented on 2024-07-24 10:21 (UTC)
In my opinion the pkgver should be reverted to old method. For example right now latest firefox (let's say firefox-hg) requires nss>=3.103.0.
With current tag based pkgver scheme it uses "3.101beta2", where with old pkgver it would use correct 3.103 version as can be seen from https://hg.mozilla.org/projects/nss/file/tip/lib/nss/nss.h

I've fixed the package, enhanced the
pkgver()
to use Mercurial tags, and synced it with repo's nss PKGBUILD.But I'm disowning it, since I wouldn't be interested in maintaining and testing it.

The package requires an update. Firefox 91 requires version 3.66 or higher.

Thank you for this package, it works great.
kubrick commented on 2020-06-05 11:35 (UTC)
The package currently doesn't build
/home/francois/.cache/pikaur/build/nss-hg/src/dist/private/nss/blapi.h:13:10: fatal error: cmac.h: No such file or directory

After freshly built
nspr-hg
,nss-hg
andfirefox{,wayland}-hg
, the message is no longer there,https
seems fine. (Just rebuildingnss-hg
wasn't enough, there was an infinite loading loop for every https resource)Please, could you add the last commit to
nspr-hg
'spkgver
? I keep it in an unofficial repo and it's not updating automatically...franziskus commented on 2020-02-25 07:24 (UTC)
The issue should be fixed now.
<deleted-account> commented on 2020-02-03 09:42 (UTC)
The issue is talked about there : https://github.com/p11-glue/p11-kit/issues/278
more specifically : nss-hg is broken as it now links libnssckbi.so to the nonexistent libnssckbi-p11-kit.so.
P11-KIT > 0.23.19-1 make browsers running with nss-hg throw an error : NSS is not initialized. Error code: SEC_ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED
This is to the maintainer of this package to patch the source code (according to upstream).
Workaround is to revert p11-kit package to 0.23.19-1 until there's a fix
PedroHLC commented on 2020-01-30 09:00 (UTC)
Latest nspr-hg, fresh nss-hg, still no luck.
