@Light2Yellow It's the latest harfbuzz/gdk-pixbuf2 update with infinality patchset installed.
Downgrading harfbuzz to 1.3.* or installing vanilla freetype/fontconfig, and reinstalling gdk-pixbuf2 should fix the issue.

Recent arch update broke numix and numix-circle icons in xfce: https://github.com/numixproject/numix-icon-theme-circle/issues/31

Yep, it's fine now. Thanks!

Alright, that was due to the upstream repo change which reset the revision count. Bumped the pkgver to reflect that change, should be fine now.

The actual problem is that the pkgver variable in the git repo is set to 0.r3135.a128c7d, while pkgver() function during makepkg run results in this:
$ echo "0.r$(git rev-list --count HEAD).$(git rev-parse --short HEAD)"
0.r3.3773866
Since both versions differ, the tools (pacaur and yaourt in my case) a newer version.

I don't know how pacaur determines whether a package is out of date or not, but it's clearly wrong and unsupported anyway. Please take this to its developers.

Same issue here.

I am consistently getting an error that the package is out of date whenever I run pacaur -Syu. I will update it, restart, and the package is still out of date. Any way to fix this?

In kde5, starting up most gui applications will cause the errors:
Invalid Context= "Panel" line for icon theme: "/usr/share/icons/Numix-Circle/16x16/panel"

However, this doesn't happen with the Menda-Circle theme

Please stop flagging this package as out-of-date.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_User_Repository#Flagging_packages_out-of-date
Note: VCS packages are not considered out of date when the pkgver changes, do not flag them as the maintainer will merely unflag the package and ignore you. AUR maintainers should not commit mere pkgver bumps.

@nekobuster - I do not develop this theme - I maintain the pkgbuild - ask this on their github
