@northbear, thanks for the heads-up. I must have missed it. I have updated the version to the latest 5.3.1 and also changed the chown command to use the semi-colon.

Well done! Tnx @Inxsible The only point is that the package issues warning messages on installation. It's because of this:
pkg/omada-controller/usr/share/libalpm/scripts/omada-init-user-dirs:45: chown "${OMADA_USER}.${OMADA_GROUP}" "${DIR}"
A point between a user name and a group name isn't recommended for chown command. it should be a semicolon :
.

Just updated to the latest v5.1.7

@kleptophobiac, you can choose which one you want. I use mongodb44-bin from AUR.
kleptophobiac commented on 2022-04-05 03:37 (UTC)
Is there a preferred way to satisfy the mongodb<5 dependency? It looks like there are quite a few options to choose from.

Update to this package is much appreciated, Inxsible, thank you.
Wish I'd just waited! It took me ages to get the omada-sdn-controller package updated on my local system and had no idea how to share that - or if I'd done it 'properly'.
schard commented on 2022-03-21 08:29 (UTC)
@Inxsible Fair enough.
Inxsible commented on 2022-03-21 02:07 (UTC)
@schard, Yes and that package suffers with the CVE-2021-44228 as you have commented on it and the package has been flagged out of date since a while with no response. I have tried to contact the maintainer with no response and also have created a Orphan request to the TUs with no response yet.
If the package does get orphaned, I can adopt it as well and have one of them deleted which is what should have been done with this package when it was orphaned anyway.
schard commented on 2022-03-20 22:37 (UTC)
This package was originally for the legacy non-SDN controller. So you just created a duplicate of https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/omada-sdn-controller/ which is against AUR guidelines?

@teJECSke Please stop flagging this package as out of date unless a new version is available on the link marked as Upstream URL on this page !!!
