After moving to systemd openct works unstable. ifdhandler dies after about 10 seconds after inserting eToken. It works only first time after starting openct service but after removeing eToken and plugging it back again ifdhandler dies after a few seconds. I tried it with 2 netbooks and this issue happens. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=152765 -- here is my forum post about it. B.t.w. there is no files for systemd to start/stop openct via systemctl.

@programmerq: Thanks, fixed now. Removed redundant udev installs along with other obsolete junk.

Per https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:usrlib, this package needs to be updated to put its file in /usr/lib, not /lib. It looks like it's currently putting files in both places: $ pacman -Ql openct ... openct /lib/ openct /lib/udev/ openct /lib/udev/openct_pcmcia openct /lib/udev/openct_serial openct /lib/udev/openct_usb ... openct /usr/lib/udev/ openct /usr/lib/udev/openct_pcmcia openct /usr/lib/udev/openct_serial openct /usr/lib/udev/openct_usb ... I did completely remove the package and then install it again.

@ghen: Thanks, package updated, sorry for taking so long. If you get file conflicts in /usr/lib/udev, you need to manually uninstall and reinstall the package (due to a pacman limitation): # pacman -R openct # pacman -U ./openct-0.6.20-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

/lib/udev is being moved to /usr/lib/udev, could you update the package for this?

@karol_007: Package updated, added patch to fix /bin/sleep.

karol_007 commented on 2012-04-07 16:16 (UTC)

Seems /etc/udev/rules.d/95-openct.rules uses /bin/sleep instead of /usr/bin/sleep. Arch doesn't provide /bin/sleep anymore: http://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/coreutils&id=11824500755d8428bf2fa4fae87af2385a8fbb1b You need to edit this part of the rule: # sleep for 100ms - the wait_for_sysfs might not be enough PROGRAM="/bin/sleep 0.1" so that it says: PROGRAM="/usr/bin/sleep 0.1"
