Could you add a systemd module for this? It'd be convenient to daemonise it with systemd.

In fact, you've deleted the whole lib64/ directory, which I'm sure it's not the way to go! In my computer, the package builds and runs perfectly. Perhaps something went wrong with your build? I recommend rebuilding the package itself. If you download the binary from upstream, does it work without this error message?

(it will only work for x86 but I added at the end of the pkgbuild: rm -fr "$pkgdir"/opt/opensimulator/bin/lib64/)

I got an error: "strip:./opt/opensimulator/bin/lib64/libsqlite3_64.so: File format not recognized" (running it on a x86 distribution), so I had to manually remove this file to avoid the error.
