This took me quite a while to track down. Seems the build fails with the --disable-static configure flag, so I removed it. Hopefully this solves the problem as it did in a separate clone I made for testing without the PKGBUILD.

Build fails since opus-git has reached 1.2 alpha2.15 version.

Fixed. Let me know if you have any further problems. Thanks for the suggestion.

thanks for the GIT build. community is on 0.3 and ALOT has been fixed by the day that using the stable version is pointless

Fixed. The ./configure options in the official PKGBUILD include --enable-custom-modes and --disable-static. I have added both of these options in the PKGBUILD I just uploaded, so it should be able to completely replace the release, unless breakage occurs in the git repo. Thanks for the feedback.

Opus needs to be built with --enable-custom-modes in order to work with the official jack2 package (jackd won't run otherwise).

Because of changes in the packaging guidelines and the internal functionality of makepkg, the version numbering scheme of this package has changed to reflect the tagged version number rather than the date the git source was cloned. Consequently, installing the latest version of this package will show a downgrade warning. It is safe to ignore the downgrade worning and proceed with the installation, as the installed package will still contain the latest git commit.
