:: Unable to build oracle-sqldeveloper - makepkg exited with code: 1
Est-ce un pb du PKGBUILD ?

New version is published and should be working. Thanks to @smrqdt.

19.1.0.094.2042 is out, filename is sqldeveloper-19.1.0.094.2042-no-jre.zip (with a dot…)
md5sums=('47eac55a273b3e78c6463cedc4885ec9' '1d17d18e10ab85dead0770e8840273b3' '26c1dc933a9ab58a4245f4f351717645' '71a4092467209c160d0f34abbc08e049' 'fe446201cc0d5326ecb757c384c67232')

Could you please make the PKGBUILD use sed or awk to determine the correct file name instead of relying on the user to figure out that one of the dots was changed to a dash?

Thank you for packaging this!
The icon provided by Oracle doesn't upscale well and looks blurry on my environment. I replaced it in the desktop file with /opt/sqldeveloper/sqldeveloper/bin/SQLDeveloperIcons.icns which works fine with gnome 3.30.
Maybe you should give it a try!
Anyhow, good job and thanks again!

Hi @YanDoroshenko.
You could change the PKGBUILD to have two variables, so each of them gets one part of the version number. So, pkgver could be ${first-part}.${second-part} and the source link could be manual://sqldeveloper-${first-part}-${second-part}-no-jre.zip.
Thanks for maintaining this package!

Updated version to 18.4.0.376.1900. Please take note that Oracle in its eternal wisdom decided to distribute the archive with a dash instead of a dot between 0 and 376.
YanDoroshenko commented on 2019-01-17 15:22 (UTC)
@brad87 Please read the error messages. Checking the PKGBUILD contents would also be fine, because it explicitly says that you should download the .zip archive with the application itself from Oracle's site as it is not redistributable and requires login.
