Ok but this is what it is asking me to install: https://i.imgur.com/xDdHQ4B.png https://i.imgur.com/GM6uP8N.png

@Tio: It's not a dependency, it's only required to build.

Why does this package have such weird dependencies like gnome-shell? I am on XFCE and I do not need that probably.

@yochananmarqos: Big fan of this theme, thanks for maintaining this package! Normally when I use this theme, I select the compact tweak with ./install.sh --tweaks compact (different than the compact variant included with this package). I was wondering if it would be possible to add that variation to the list of themes or perhaps create a second package for the compact version? I'd love to let my AUR helper update Orchis for me while still keeping the compact tweak.

Ok thanks. got it.

@soorajsp: VCS packages always pull from the latest commit, they don't become out of date. Unless the PKGBUILD needs to be modified for upstream changes, it will stay the same.

Hi, they Orchis theme got new update on June 9th, so could mark this repo as Out-of-date?

@ChillFre4k: If by client you mean AUR helper, then yes if you enable checking for devel package updates. Examples would be Yay and Paru.

Otherwise you can rebuild the package manually to pull new commits.

@yochananmarqos how should a client get an update if there is no version update?

@ChillFre4k: Stop flagging this out of date. VCS packages pull from the latest commit.
