Thanks very much for letting us know. I'm glad it was a simple fix. I have updated the PKGBUILD accordingly.

The issue can be worked around with make -j1. inkscape-git is not required, nor does it help.

Don't worry, I'm sure the cursors haven't changed much (if at all). I only updated this package because someone flagged it out-of-date.
If anyone wants to give "inkscape-git" a try (and has enough time to install it), please let us know whether it solves the (core-dumping) problem.

Sorry; no, I wasn't suggesting that. It doesn't build for me, and I have Inkscape, not Inkscape-git. Since Inkscape-git is listed as an alternate dependency, I thought it was now required. As it is, I can't update this package because the inkscape installed on my system core dumps rather than converting the cursors.

I'm hesitant to make that change as it takes an eternity to download "inkscape-git" and its dependencies. That probably means building them would take forever as well.
Also, it's surprising that KDE would require its uber-stable code to suddenly depend on an unstable (git) dependency.
However, if you (or someone else) can confirm that this package definitely does require "inkscape-git" to build, then I will make the change.

My guess as to why this won't install for me (Inkscape core dumped) is that this now requires inkscape-git?

The base package is still called 'oxygen'. (Do a "pacman -Si oxygen" to see what I mean.) This probably means no change is required.

The naming scheme for cursors packages is discussed here. I currently an not sure about renaming this package.
For the kde packages, see KDE package guidelines.
