Unfortunately I've got this error at build:

pangox-fontmap.c:944:21: error: implicit declaration of function 'pango_config_key_get'; did you mean 'pango_coverage_get'? [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
  944 |   char *files_str = pango_config_key_get ("PangoX/AliasFiles");
      |                     ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      |                     pango_coverage_get
pangox-fontmap.c:944:21: error: initialization of 'char *' from 'int' makes pointer from integer without a cast [-Wint-conversion]

Please kindly adjust the source URL to have a '.git' suffix:

https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/pangox-compat.git

Cloning fails with hardened git settings (http.followredirects=false).

@D3SOX thank you for pointing this out. After installing base-devel group the package build succesfully :+1:

D3SOX commented on 2020-09-25 15:33 (UTC)

@iraklisg Have you installed the base-devel group? This is a general requirement for building packages.

I am having the following error using yay and selecting cleanbuilding

/home/user/.cache/yay/pangox-compat/PKGBUILD: line 33: patch: command not found
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare().
    Aborting...

japhir commented on 2020-05-06 21:19 (UTC)

I'm using yay. Cleanbuilding seems to work! Thanks!

@japhir Which AUR-Helper do you use? Try a clean build. I have just rebuilt the package again without any problems
