Agreed and done in release 2

"unzip" needs to be added to makedepends.

Morn, "jdk7-openjdk, jdk8-openjdk" at the end of the list above are from the main repos. I have jdk8-openjdk installed and panoply works well with that. Why do you prefer java-runtime over java-environment?

Morn commented on 2016-03-05 09:20 (UTC)

I think this should depend on java-runtime, not java-environment, so it will work with OpenJDK from the main repos.

panoply has support for freedesktop.org: icons and a desktop shortcut which I extracted from the Windows executable and wrote myself, respectively. panoply-nodesktop is basically the original package with just a set of jars and a shell script.

What is the difference between this package and "panoply-nodesktop"?

The hash does appear to have changed. Fixed

It seems that the sha-1 hash of the source file has changed even though the version (4.3.2) is the same? Unless my downloads keep getting corrupted. This is what I get: $ sha1sum PanoplyJ-4.3.2.zip 2f359fb984d626e8ff0faa63570225ecaec426d2 PanoplyJ-4.3.2.zip

I was not aware of the existence of the virtual dependency when I first created this package. As per your advice, I have now replaced java-runtime-common with java-runtime>=7 as the dependency. The main site indicates that the >=7 is in fact required.

A java runtime environment is missing from the dependency list. Briefly tested with jre8-openjdk and it seemed to work fine. Suggest to add it as dependency.
