@dreieck You have a permission error with your ccache install (ccache: error: Failed to create directory /run/user/0/ccache-tmp: Permission denied). I don't have ccache installed.

@johnwuelk You have to install sphinxbase then pocketsphinx before installing parlatype and the problem you're facing is related to the installation of sphinxbase not parlatype. I just did it my self and it worked:
Maybe just don't use yay and try git + makepkg when a build is failing.

I receive the following error:
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/dojo/.cache/yay/sphinxbase/src/sphinxbase-5prealpha-py2/doc' make: *** [Makefile:478: all-recursive] Error 1 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Do I have to install sphinxbase separately, maybe an older functional version?

@xpixelz I added the libreoffice dependency as it's needed to build the LibreOffice Helpers that let the user control Parlatype from LibreOffice, and it needs to be rebuilt if one wants to install it. I don't know what's the best way to do it (Debian builds a second package solely for it https://packages.debian.org/buster/parlatype-libreoffice-helpers).

Could you please remove libreoffice dependency? This is so large it must not be force IMHO! Thanks :)

@kingcreole I have no issues with GStreamer neither pocketsphinx, as I have the non -git version installed and it's working. Have you seen similar issues reported upstream?
