!!! Please do NOT flag the package out of date just because a new version has been release. !!!

Parsec self-updates and as long as the package still installs (no sha256 mismatch), there is no reason to update it in the AUR as the .deb actually is an older version.

Hello. parsec-linux.deb sha256sums need to be updated to f1691ba3a97534604f5f640c26cceafaef672ccf7ab6eed66114d0abafc2cccf

If you only use pipewire as the sound server, you need to install the pipewire-alsa package as well. Otherwise you get the error below and you do not hear any sound from the application or the stream inside it. I think we should add the pipewire-alsa package as a dependency to parsec-bin

ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1000:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
[D 2024-10-11 01:21:36] MTY_AudioCreate: 'snd_pcm_open' failed with error -2

I'm seeing the black window starting with parsecd-150-94a.so. The initially installed version still works.

Workaround: Removing my ~/.parsec dir and starting the app without internet connection allows usage until first dis- and reconnect ( when the auto-updater kicks in).

Edit: One can stop the auto updater from doing it's work by removing the write permissions from "~/.parsec/appdata.json" and "~/.parsec/parsecd-150-93b.so".

It seems that Parsec installed via this package no longer works. I'm getting a black window when I open the app
