Is this happening only to me. Sometimes if you save some random .txt file, the file on drive folder in computer seems to reset to 0 bytes. If you check the folder in web browser in my.pcloud.com it does show the original saves size and file.

@DaveB ok, I did bump pkgrel to 2 - hope this helps some with older versions installed. Let me know if there is any update in pcloudcc master that I may miss in the future.

Ok, fair enough. I'm running pcloudcc straight from git, it's working for me. No idea why as it's probably the same version then... something must have changed since your last commit though, or it would have worked before I installed it from git. Which obvs has the same effect as reinstalling it from AUR. (Which works, I just checked).
Idk, maybe bump up pkgrel=1 to 2 to force an update? It's a dirty solution, but this isn't the only package where the update policy in the sources doesn't match the AUR versioning policy, makes things difficult for the packager.

@DaveB This package really pulls master from https://github.com/pcloudcom/console-client and makes the package. As such, it is not outdated. There was an unofficial 2.1.0 by plague-doctor, but then it was abandoned, and not working for some people. I am keeping this version mainly because it works in my set-up. (I also have pcloud-drive, and after I set up with pcloud-drive it works). I would suggest checking whether you can use fuse2 (instead of fuse3) to see whether it gets mounted.

I've already marked the package out of date. The package is out of date, the latest version is 2.1.0. This one is only 2.0.1.
This isn't minor either, 2.0.1 will not mount the pCloud drive on my setup whereas 2.1.0 does.

@deemon, yes rclone is very flexible and you can use it to perform partial syncs. It does need to be run as a script though - I use regular cron jobs for my syncing. Last time I checked, they didn't have a daemon feature that keeps files in sync continuously. As a side note, I use syncthing for such operations.

Question about rclone - does it support some sort of cache or partial sync? I mean if I have like 2TB pCloud drive, I do not want to have all of it in my local computer also, but max like 20G of most used files. Is this possible with rclone?
boiko commented on 2020-02-25 21:45 (UTC)
@plague-doctor, thanks for the tip about rclone. I just tried it and it seems pretty great so far!
plague-doctor commented on 2020-02-25 21:42 (UTC)
Yeah, missed that. Sorry. You can change it if you want.

@plague-doctor Hmmm... The PKGBUILD still uses your own fork and does not build. I meant to use the pcloudcom master repo. Maybe this was too rushed.

Upstream has not seen any updates forever, and now this package does not build against recent versions of gcc. It should not be used. Users are urged to migrate to
pcloudcc-lneely
.
