I have to see, whether I can still get my old Thinkpad 240X working again with Arch32, so that I can test a PCMCIA card (I had a ethernet and two wifi cards), the PCMCIA slot on that machine should still be working..
I cannot test this on x86_64, I have no such hardware combination..

[19:03:02] <balrog> looking at the pcmciautils package (for regular arch linux since I have one of those computers with an x86_64 CPU and a pcmcia/cardbus slot); seems there's code upstream but not in a release that handles the sysfsutils deprecation (https://mirror.archlinux32.org/irc-logs/%23archlinux32/2024-07-08.html#19:03:02)
[19:03:12] <balrog> there's also a few debian patches that may be useful for inclusion https://mirror.archlinux32.org/irc-logs/%23archlinux32/2024-07-08.html#19:03:12
