I'm having the same compiling error. Port-bin seems to be working fine in the interim. Thanks for the quick response!

hey I version bumped, but am getting an error compiling (maybe you wont)

I've contacted upstream to see if we can get a fix, it looks related to this: https://github.com/electron/electron-rebuild/issues/913

you can switch to port-bin for the time being, its the precompiled version directly from github

sorry about the delay I've been running around due to the holidays

I'm having an issue with launching a comet using port 1.6.0-2. After googling it looks like this issue is solved with version 1.7.1. Can we get a version update?

1.5.0 currently doesn't build on my system, so stay on 1.4.0 (this may be an issue due to having an old version of urbit) or switch to port-bin for the time being; i will post when there is a fix

Hi, me again.

All looks good except

cp -r "$srcdir"/port/out/port-linux-x64* "$pkgdir"/usr/share/port

This copies the directory port-linux-x64 into /usr/share/port creating the path /usr/share/port/port-linux-x64/..., but later you link /usr/share/port/port (which doesn't exist) to /usr/bin/port.

Essentially, I think you just missed a / sign, and you wanted this:

cp -r "$srcdir"/port/out/port-linux-x64/* "$pkgdir"/usr/share/port
