Can you switch from using .deb file as source to .tar.gz file?

I am getting the following problem while installing :: powershell-bin package(s) failed to install. :: ensure package version does not mismatch between .SRCINFO and PKGBUILD :: ensure package name has a VCS suffix if this is a devel package

Note that the binary is now called "pwsh"
