@MarsSeed who keeps flagging this package out of date: I responded to your aur-request, but I don't know if the mail went through.
I advocate that broken or insecure packages are removed from the AUR, but simply removing old or unmaintained software is really not a good idea. Software sometimes is just feature complete or still needed (even if nothing in the AUR depends on it, the amount of software is the strength of it) and any possible security concerns are of purely academical interest due to the type of software or software environment.
Could you please stop filing spammy deletion requests? Your deletion requests for "ARM-only" packages (which have been in the AUR for YEARS) have created huge frustration, unneccessary work for all ALARM users who want to install these packages and created security problems as these packages aren't updated through the regular package manager anymore. Instead of filing deletion requests to other peoples packages, could please start with your own packages, most of which depend on EOL software like Python2, and leave other people alone and not destroy their setups? Thank you.

Could you add go to makedepends?
makedepends=('go')
This will enable chroot builds (with e.g. aurutils).
