autoconf should be a dependency.

Please change 201507013-1 to something that is similar to what pkgver generates (notice extra zero before day)

@McLenin: Uploading it under the new name (just git clone purple-facebook-git) then copy over the files, git commit/push. then click file request on this page to merge it. all comments/votes will go with it.

I thought the convention was pidgin-something such as pidgin-opensteamworks. But I now see that there are also purple named packages such as purple-whatsapp-git and telegram-purple. Since most people will probably be looking for it in regards to pidgin it might be a bit easier to find it under its current name, but that's not really a good enough argument, especially since upstream uses purple-facebook. Is there a simple way to rename a package in AUR?

Is there any reason this is 'pidgin' and nor 'purple' -facebook-git? libpurple backs a lot of things other than just pidgin, and it seems that the original author realized this as well since upstream is already named purple-facebook
