Not sure what I did, but now it managed to install. I think I uninstalled it via pip before installing it again via AUR.

I cleaned my build cache (
yay -Sc
), but it returns the same error. However, when I try to build it in a clean chroot, it works. Also, for some reason, even after clearing the cache, it says "build files exist".yochananmarqos commented on 2021-08-22 16:35 (UTC)
@vejtics: Clear your build cache, I can't reproduce that.

The issue with the license file seems to persist. The output says:
mv: cannot stat '/home/(username)/.cache/yay/python-casttube/pkg/python-casttube/usr/LICENSE': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). Aborting... error making: python-casttube

@akspecs: thanks for the report! should be fixed now.

hi there,
a minor detail just came across my attention recently: it seems that there's a "lost" LICENSE file at /usr/LICENSE
otherwise, thanks in general for maintaining this package.

@felipec: Package builds fine in a clean chroot for me.
