@carlosal1015: that is unofficial, a fork (a derived code). Please, do not start with the same /out of date flagging/ as with other packages. FEniCS is legacy and is not recommended any more.

FIAT doesn't work with Sympy 1.2 so you'll have to install Sympy 1.1.1 somehow. A PKGBUILD for Sympy 1.1.1 is available in this repo: https://github.com/sigvaldm/arch-fenics-packages

python-sympy<1.2 should be python-sympy on PKGBUILD or it cannot find package when searching for dependencies
