There is a missing dependency on python-npx (see the setup.cfg file).

@tpkessler... Well, looks like I installed meshio with pip3 in my home folder ages ago and totally forgot about it... See the solution here. The issue is solved now. Thanks for updating the package.

Hi @tpkessler, thank you for looking into this. I updated and I still get the same error. I am starting thinking I might have some local issue on my machine... I will be back if I manage to troubleshoot this.

Please see this issue I filed to upstream on GitHub.

In a nuthsell, meshio is giving me lxml issues, but this is not supposed to happen as python-lxml is not a dependency of this package anymore according to the meshio author. The suspect is that something wrong is happening when building meshio through this PKGBUILD.

The upstream issue I filed contains all info, including link to a VTU file to reproduce the issue.
