Hi @iyanmv,

Yes, I am using qiskit-1.1.0rc1-1. No, it did not happen with the previous version, the problem appeared after upgrading. I'm not involved in a project with qiskit, there is no pressure. But I want to do some simulation, as besides quantum engineering I am involved in quantum communications (QC). I will edit the PKGBUILD as soon as I have some spare time and increase the verbose of pythest, to see what happens.

I am currently using python-qiskit-nature and python-qiskit-machine-learning versions 0.7.2-1, both of them operational. They do not upgrade.

Thank you very much for your time and kindness!

Can you edit the PKGBUILD to increase the verbose of pytest and see what test exactly is causing the crash? Also, are you using qiskit 1.1.0rc1? Does it also happen with the previous version, did you check? The reason I skipped the stable release 1.0.2 is because it failed to build with rust on [extra].

If you are doing a project with qiskit and don't have time to solve issues I would recommend using the official packages from PyPI instead of relying on my PKGBUILDs. Very recently I also noticed some issues when using the symengine from [extra]. See https://github.com/Qiskit/qiskit/issues/12359
