Hey, would you mind adding the following bug fix patch to this package? The upstream developers seem to have been completely unresponsive for the last ~8 years (including ignoring the year-or-more-old bug report about Python 3 compatibility, which has a trivial 2-liner fix patch that's already been included in this package); so I sort of doubt that they'll ever get around to responding to my bug report and merging it.
