To use QB64, you must be a member of the qb64 group. Run usermod <username> -a -G qb64
to add your user to the group, then log out and log back in.

@alex.hernie No, but I was attempting to install QB64 from the package manager and I found an AUR package (this one) and attempted to install QB64 using it.

I have an issue with installation as listed in this GitHub issue: https://github.com/QB64Team/qb64/issues/214 and the maintainers stated that they did not run this AUR package and to contact the maintainer of it.
