I guess I don't see what the big deal is. pacman -U <qgis.....pkg.tar.gz>, oh it doesn't work, pacman -U <qgis-ltr....pkg.tar.gz>. Takes less than a minute to switch.</qgis-ltr....pkg.tar.gz></qgis.....pkg.tar.gz>

+1 for in production purpose. Qgis 3 is nice but not all plugins are working : need to be converting to python3

@Scimmia It would be much much appreciated though. In order to be able to provide feedback on the preview while still have an operational qgis for production purposes... If impossible on your side, could you provide pointers on how to do it? Cheers,

I'm well aware it's possible, but I'm not going to hack this package up beyond recognition to do it.

of course, I know, if there are conflicts this could be solved changing the default target directory (/usr) to an alternative path.
Scimmia commented on 2018-02-24 15:42 (UTC)
Doesn't work that way. It's marked as conflicting because it actually does conflict.
Xavier commented on 2018-02-24 15:40 (UTC)
Delete the conflicts with Qgis (v3) to have the possibility of install both
