Thank you for the links and the explanation. It makes sense, thank you for considering.

There already are binary packages built on https://build.opensuse.org/projects/home:pbek:QOwnNotes/packages/desktop/repositories/Arch/binaries. See https://www.qownnotes.org/installation/arch.html#pacman. But they are built asynchronously, so I can't make them part of a pipeline.

Would it be possible to have another aur package for the binary of qownnotes, like qownnotes-bin? I would like to avoid compiling the package with every update, which takes some time, and updates are often. I realize that this is not a priority issue and appreciate you considering it.

Is there an advantage of using hunspell over aspell under Arch, and what advantage? Will this break things for people using this package?

We can discuss that as a GitHub issue, and you could contribute the change to https://github.com/pbek/QOwnNotes/blob/main/build-systems/aur/PKGBUILD.

Hello, thanks for maintaining this! I noticed that it can be built with hunspell instead of aspell. Their website has some information on this.

Something seems to be wrong with the download server. File size for latest release is 0k.
