Thanks for the fix

That’s true: I seem to have missed commenting them out again after building with tests enabled before pushing a new version. Thanks for noticing, I pushed a new PKGBUILD

Shouldn't
checkdepends
and thecheck()
function be commented out in the PKGBUILD as the comments indicate? That's what some other packages with circular dependencies do. In the latest commitf4c45adb
those were uncommented, making this package unable to be built automatically with AUR helpers.peippo commented on 2023-09-11 07:04 (UTC)
Hi @pekkarr: thanks for noticing this. The (optional!) dependencies are defined upstream, please report there if you want anything changed: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/rasterVis/index.html https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/raster/index.html

This package has a semi-cyclical dependency:
r-raster
checkdepends onr-rastervis
, which depends onr-raster

Further maintenance and support for this package has been moved there. You can install pre-built packages from my repo
