@xcupen I've been tearing my hair out over this package too. To get this to work after a system rebuild, I had to go back and re-install all the dependencies back to python-pycx, which is make-dependency of python-pysvn, which is a dependency of rabbitvcs.

@xcupen if you are using the Thunar file manager, and you have installed this package, then you should get a context menu like shown here http://wiki.rabbitvcs.org/wiki/clients/thunar

The problem was that for some reason python-thunar was not searching the plugin in a path where it previously did, even if it is still documented https://gitlab.xfce.org/bindings/thunarx-python. With the last commit it should be fixed, try and let me know

This seems to install the RabbitVCS.py plugin under /usr/lib/thunarx-3/python/RabbitVCS.py, which is not found by recent python-thunarx. I managed to get it working by symlinking it to the right place:

sudo mkdir -p /usr/share/thunarx-python/extensions
sudo ln -rsf /usr/lib/thunarx-3/python/RabbitVCS.py /usr/share/thunarx-python/extensions/

Unfortunately that's still the case. I can't install RabbitVCS on Manjaro with XFCE4 due to python-thunarx having build errors. My system is fully updated and otherwise sane. Here's the build log from trying to install python-thunarx after having set a symlink to "/usr/bin/python" at "/usr/local/bin/python" (which I also shouldn't have had to do): https://pastebin.com/fnUCVswK

@svenaugustus - look up above at the dependency list... thunarx-python-0.3, python2-thunarx, and python-thunarx are all in AUR and all provide thunarx-python >= 0.2.0.

Perhaps you are using an AUR helper and the AUR helper you are using doesn't handle virtual packages correctly. Many of them don't.

IT cannot be installed in Manajro xfce4 with Thunar 1.6.14 !!!
