@lhz07, it's the manual, as you can see at line 33 of the PKGBUILD file. You can read the manual by issuing the man rar command in a terminal. This said, I'm unsure how current it is, but I think it should belong to version 5 (2013-09-09). I'll be happy to upgrade it, provided anyone shares how to get a more recent version.

What does the file "rar.1" do? I cannot find it in rar offical package

@solace, I updated the source properties to use https 3 days ago. I just realized that I missed to update the url package, and I just did. I don't think that prevented you from building the package at all.

This package still doesn't use https, and I cannot install it using regular http. Please fix this. Thanks.
