@frealgagu At this time version 2 doesn't work on Arch and they're continuing to support v1 for the time being so there's nothing I can do to resolve your out-of-date flag. That said, I've been tinkering with this on and off and frankly, unless the dev staff at SW starts doing better work, version 2 is unlikely to work on Arch.

Updated to latest in Debian repo: 1.0.4.1. Let me know if anybody has problems with this latest version.

Edit: If you still have libopenssl-1.0-compat installed, you need to manually remove it before upgrading.

$ sudo pacman -Rdd libopenssl-1.0-compat

...then try installing again.

Also, you'll need to remember to import the keys from the dev for libopenssl-1.0-compat for it to pass validation: $ gpg --recv-keys --keyserver hkp://pgp.mit.edu D9C4D26D0E604491

For agents crashing due to package upgrade to libssl-1.1, update to this package version with libopenssl-1.0-compat as a listed dependency. If you were already toying around like I was with copying/pasting different files and symbolic links before landing here, this command should help you clear up most of what you did that's preventing it from working now: $ sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto-compat.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 $ sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libssl-compat.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0 Keep in mind that the installer for the libopenssl-1.0-compat package should have created those symbolic links for you, however the presence of prior tinkering would have prevented them from installing.

@lunahex thanks again for pointing out the newer versions, I'll investigate today and see if I can't get it's adjusted. Here's hoping for native systemd support!

It looks like there's a new version here: http://repos.systemmonitor.us/rmmagent/Debian_8.0/ that was updated in December. Might be worth looking into.

Thanks to lunahex for kicking me in the butt and fixing this package. Remember to first run # /usr/rmmagent/rmmagentd -i then tell the setup script No to start the agent, then finally enable and start rmmagentd with systemctl. Also, I could use some help adapting the older init checks into systemd compatible checks. A great example would be replicating /var/log checks. You'll notice not everything works; that's us dealing with Languard practically abandoning us Linux users by not updating the Linux agent in years.
