@bluerider Thank you! I think 'rstudio-server' user should be created during package installation (specified in PKGBUILD)

Thank you @bluerider! That solved the problem! Its strange I did not have this issue with Rstudio-server 1.2.x.

@SweetestRug You'll need add the rstudio-server user. So, something like 


# useradd rstudio-server

On Manjaro when installing 1.3.1093 rstudio-server-bin does not start correctly. I get the following after trying to start Rstudio-server when running rstudio-server status.

This occurs if I try to launch as a normal user or as root.

Downgrading back to 1.2.x fixes the issue. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

login problem fixed with:

cd /etc/pam.d/

cp login rstudio

systemctl restart rstudio-server
