After every major ruby update all AUR ruby pkgbuilds need to be rebuilded

Reposting this for visibility sake: rubyripper currently has bugs upstream due to the use of deprecated code. These have been fixed in later commits, so please use the rubyripper-git package for the time being until a new release comes out.

Thanks for reflecting those new PKGBUILDs in the AUR @FabioLinux, but they still do not seem to work for me. I have uploaded my PKGBUILDs in my own GitHub repo in case anyone needs to use them. So far, I have had no issues using these packages or rubyripper-git. https://github.com/nakoeppen/arch-pkgbuilds

Sorry, works on this have slipped away, the pkgbuilds are here: https://github.com/FabioLolix/PKGBUILDS-RUBY they will be moved to https://github.com/FabioLolix/PKGBUILD-AUR_fix and updated on the AUR at a later time

Good news, locally I have updated and build all the ruby-gnome pkgbuilds and got rubyripper with the GUI to work again, tomorrow I should update all the pkgbuilds on AUR

There is currently a problem with Arch package ruby-gtk3 which no longer have some of its depends in the repo

Please move ruby-gtk3 from optdepends to depends so that the GUI will function correctly for new users.

I've tested some disks and Gnudb seems to work well with most records with 0.8.0rc3. However, "multiple hits" are a problem with CLI it seems. Works well in GUI.
