@ciferkey @adreip: I can't reproduce that error. Maybe I have something installed you two don't that need to be added to the dependencies.
Line 29 has something to do with getting the locale. It's looking for either "en", "es", "it" or "gl". If your locale is set to something else, it should default to "en". Is your locale something other than the above?
Similar to andreip I am getting the error:

Thanks @tioguda for this package. If you don't have xorg-xdpyinfo the slimbookbattery preferences crush at start with the following error.

Because preferences.py can't exec dimensiones = subprocess.getoutput("xdpyinfo | grep 'dimensions:'")
Solved with the installation of this package. Now it works well in Manjaro. As a suggestion, add xorg-xdpyinfo to the dependencies.
