in rev 3600 patch without problem. i dont know this pach applied on rev 3602 what is the output "pach -p2 < seekingfix.diff" ?

patch complains that the patch(diff) file is malformed...

The mplayer2 package has a provides "mplayer" entry. But you need to edit-out the version number from the smplayer-svn depends line.

Now mplayer2 is forked with some great features. Is it possible to modify the PKGBUILD so it can depend on mplayer or mplayer2????

oh no! my last comment didn't mean what you thought it did, flamelab! i meant it is much easier for ME to remove the version number from your PKGBUILD. didn't mean to start a big fuss. sorry:D dubious sentence structure can get one into deep sh*t on the net, my bad.
