All you should have to do is update the pkgver and pkgrel variables to the versions that are in github, then generate new sha256sums if you want to take this over.
If you need help with something, post on the forums, not here.

i have the basics of understanding a makepkg and how to do a submission eg see my aur : https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fetchmirrorsgui
I just need a little help with understanding makepkg .With mine from pythoncode i package with embedded deps, to create a binary. So its only a matter of getting binary from my repo putting it into /usr/bin
the source does not have a makefile and has setup.py . So its the build i'm not sure on. When you have had a few sherry's at christmas and get into the mood for spoon feeding me, im ready :^)

Hey, I'm no longer maintaining this package as I don't use it anymore. You're welcome to take over if you wish.
