I don't see any difference to the regular Spotify app, especially the fact that this one plays advertisements too.

Maybe the missing vendor~xpui.js is the problem?

@crwn Thank you for the clarification. I've added the missing dependencies to the package. I would take a shot at fixing this issue upstream but it never happened to me :( I'm glad spotx-bash works for you.

@th3rius I linked the dependencies needed (check the link again, specifically install.sh from line 5 to 17, it needs perl, unzip and zip, which aren't marked as dependencies in the pkgbuild) and I ran across this issue https://github.com/Nuzair46/SpotX-Linux/issues/49 which makes spotify unable to be opened with this specific patch applied for some reason (the spotx-bash one works fine for me, no idea why)

@crwn This script is included. The package is installed to /opt/SpotX-Linux, so the path to the script is /opt/SpotX-Linux/install.sh.

What about this package is broken for you? I just tested it again against the spotify AUR package, and it works just fine.

Please take a look at the README of the official project and see if the instructions help: https://github.com/Nuzair46/SpotX-Linux

please add these dependencies to the package

edit: i just realized this is broken and spotx-git should be used instead.
