@faultylee I didn't tinker too much and fell back to windows because I needed it quickly to do my job but I definitely will open an issue and gather more information, thank you anyway

@JMans15 sorry to hear about that. I can't help much without getting more information. I would suggest asking in https://github.com/microsoft/AzureStorageExplorer/issues the devs has been responsive so you might get some help there. You can also tag me provided you share more information in the GitHub issue. I have the same GitHub username, and I'll help figure out something when I have the time.

Hi @faultylee, I did reinstall the one from extra and I also tried the exe using wine in vain. It gave the exact same error which was a segfault followed by a long stacktrace just after an info line about injecting certs. I sadly ended up going back to my windows partition.

Hi @JMans15, I also have both 6 and 7 installed, but both from official package repo. You said you use the AUR version of the runtime, the v6 runtime on AUR is slightly out of date. I would suggest sticking with the official ones in extra.

Also, can you run it from CLI? It might show more useful error messages in the console.

Thanks for the quick response @faultylee, I reinstalled it from the .zst but I get the exact same error, is it possible that the wrong version is used? The version 7 of the runtime is also installed, both on the sdk v7

@JMans15, dotnet-runtime-6.0 is required and still available. https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/dotnet-runtime-6.0/

The app crashes on launch for me, because of a segfault. I used the aur version of the dotnet runtime (6) because I couldn't download it from any pacman mirror

Is it possible that it uses the wrong dotnet runtime? The error is the same if I only leave dotnet-runtime-7 installed

I've updated the deps to dotnet-runtime-6.0.

Apology for not noticing this earlier and for the delay in the updates. I was away on holiday.

It makes no sense to depend on dotnet-runtime when installing this package does not work and it explicitly needs dotnet-runtime-6.0.

Could this be fixed?

Its annoying to have to manually make changes to the PKGBUILD every time it needs to be built.
