Hi, I noticed that sudo uses a weird versioning where with patches they append p<N> at the end. Their semantics is that 1.9.11p1 > 1.9.11, but that is the opposite of the pacman comparison. Could you please modify the versioning in this package to be consistent with pacman? E.g. 1.9.11 -> 1.9.11.r, 1.9.11p1 -> 1.9.11.p1. Some simple if -z with grep and a sed to add the dot should do it.

Hey there! It seems some changes happened to the license file again :> make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/main-builder/pkgwork/src/sudo/examples' install: cannot stat 'docs/LICENSE': No such file or directory

@dr460nf1r3 - thanks: the license file was moved to docs/LICENSE, so updated that reference and I have implemented the pkgver function that you have.

Hey there, it seems the LICENSE file got removed - that breaks the build currently. Also, could you maybe add a proper pkgver? You could take a look at this, it got an improved pkgver() as well as fixed package() :)

@dr460nf1r3: fixed

You messed up the pkgname with _pkgname, currently it tries to build in the folder sudo-git which doesnt exist
