Please integrate the hotfix linked to by Svenstaro. It solves problems many people have running this game with mesa.

Would not launch until I ran it with padsp (damn you pulseaudio!!!!). Error was: AL lib: alsa.c:486: Could not open playback device 'default': No such file or directory AL lib: oss.c:168: Could not open /dev/dsp: No such file or directory

Am I the only one to experience sound issues (I sometimes hear only the music) ? Or is it a general bug of the Linux version ?

I get OpenGL error on startup though i have libtxc_dxtn installed (ATI X1950XTX, R520 i think). Any ideas?

Hey, it redownloads every time you install because it wgets to a file with all the GET parameters, could you fix this?
