Thanks @Breizh, I can confirm. The libmediainfo update today fixed the issue.

It was broken for me too, but now it works again. The only dependency that I’ve updated in the meantime is libmediainfo, today: upgraded libmediainfo (24.12-1 -> 24.12-3)
Which was rebuild to fix a problem with tinyxml2, updated yesterday: upgraded tinyxml2 (10.0.0-1 -> 10.1.0-1)

I can also confirm my SVP also started segfaulting now. I'm unsure when it started because i haven't watched any shows this week and updated the system a few times.

I think there might be some arch specific issue related to svp. The program suddenly started segfaulting when playing a video, even when svp hasn't received an update. When I try to open the coredump gdb crashes with an assertion failure. Unless this is an issue only with my machine?

@Corn3j
with RIFE models we get a better result for applying the wanted effect.
There are different models fine Tuned AI for specific tasks.
I just replied in thread that I still have some issue running them.
But now we can enable the RIFE AI setting for starters.
I don't know yet how to fix the issues.

My Log: https://0x0.st/XE_O.txt
I don't know which one is best. I just started testing and it does not yet quite work.
They may come bundled with AUR package `vapoursynth-plugin-vsrife-git`
but you'd need to symlink / tweak stuff because the lookup for `librife.so`
does not quite work... it downloads to `/usr/lib/vapoursynth` =>rife-ncnn-vulkan-models
Something close ... demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnrjit0u8Qk

@bluetail Could you provide more info?
Why is that good/how is it better, how does one test/compare it?
It's QUITE a large directory, which ones are actually needed?
Going off pure-ignorance, at worst we'd only be including latest version of each I suppose? Or is it fine to just include v4 + the anime HD/UHD versions?
Might still make that a separate package due to the file size.

libpython3.8.so^@libpython3.8.so.1
Oh for, you are right, that's terrible, can someone poke Chainik on the forums to update the deps for modern python at least? 3.8 is literally EOL as of this October.
EDIT: Poked - https://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=85655#p85655

I think python38 should be an optional dependency since it seems required for SVPTube.
SVPTube did not work for me, so I looked around and found out about Python 3.8 in the Ubuntu sections of the INSTALL file. After installing python38 (AUR) SVPTube seems to work.

We got RIFE we got RIFE yay!!!
Maintainer / User - please add `https://github.com/styler00dollar/VapourSynth-RIFE-ncnn-Vulkan/tree/master/models` and install them under `/opt/svp/rife/models`
Then you can use RIFE in SVP!
Folder will look something like this:
