I get an error while linking:

gcc -shared -o libswfdecmozilla.so `pkg-config --libs swfdec-gtk-0.9` `pkg-config --libs nspr` plugin.o swfmoz.o npshell.o npunix.o

CFLAGS in /etc/makepkg.conf contain -fPIC: 

CFLAGS="  -g0 -march=x86-64 -mtune=native -O3 -flto -ffat-lto-objects -pipe -fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fomit-frame-pointer -fPIC"

I just tried compiling manually and it worked, guess I made some typo in PKGBUILD then...

The only box where I have swfdec is i686 and it works there. Did you try adding -fPIC to CFLAGS?

Fails with the same error as reported by dreieck, could this package be fixed or otherwise deleted?
