From what I can gather, this is a client which works with the new synology drive backend (different from cloud station server). It has more emphasis on collaboration, teams and itegration with the synology office suite. The synology drive backend should be backwards compatible with the synology cloud station drive client. The new DSM addon and the client are described here:
