go
is missing from makedepends.
Use of the tailscale/go fork is not required. Here's a modified PKGBUILD that uses tailscale's go-fork where available and upstream go otherwise. Upstream go is required in the makedepends
regardless or prepare()
fails.

There are a few options for installing Tailscale on Arch:
The official tailscale package in community. This is always the latest stable version.
This package, which is always the latest unstable Git version from upstream. The version will be automatically updated when you install this package, and the binaries will be built from scratch.
The AUR tailscale-unstable-bin package. This is usually some older unstable version, and downloads an official prebuilt binary from https://pkgs.tailscale.com/.
