@swearchnick What do you think you are proving by posting your compilation log? It works for me too, but only after changing the soft limits, as I have already told you.

Can you understand this?

Your threatening attitude speaks for itself, and your pinned post is a clear demonstration of that. This is my last message to you.

@swearchnick What you call false allegations can be reproduced by anyone.

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/tbs-linux_media-git.git

cd tbs-linux_media-git

makepkg -si

@postpics123 I'm not offending anyone the only thing I do is that i'am providing an useful package for you since 2017 at no charge. Your are offending this whole community spreading false allegations. I will stop feeding you now.

postpics123 commented on 2023-02-12 12:06 (UTC) (edited on 2023-02-12 12:34 (UTC) by postpics123)

@swearchnick Sure you are free to not trust me, but you can't assume I am using an AUR Helper while I am not. Again: don't share misleading informations. You don't have the right to offend other people only because they are questioning your way of doing things. I am not wasting your time, I am trying to clear things up and thus help the community installing this package. Your are not obliged to answer me, and you really need to change your attitude.

swearchnick commented on 2023-02-12 10:23 (UTC)

@postpics123 No, wrong again. You are providing incorrect and incomplete information and assume other peoples settings are changed, that's a fact! I have the exact default settings you have. Something is not standard and messed up with your system, that's also a fact! I don't trust what you say about your AUR helper, because then you could have shown that from the beginning instead of wasting my and others time. Obviously your are not able to handle a standard patch, that's a fact. If you want to be a member of this open source community you need to change attitude. By the way I hope you enjoy your working TBS card on the latest kernel that I have provided free of charge to you.

@swearchnick No. I am building the package with makepkg, that is provided by the pacman package.

And the default soft limit does not work with your patch.

These are facts.

I suggest you to provide complete informations.

swearchnick commented on 2023-02-11 10:29 (UTC)

@postpics123 I have not shared any misleading information, its your setup that is out of standard and misleading others. You also have shared incomplete error messages from the beginning and not sharing that you use an AUR helper, that was your problem.

postpics123 commented on 2023-02-11 08:36 (UTC)

@swearchnick Solved. Soft limit default value on Arch Linux is 1024. By setting it to a very high number your patch works. Please don't share misleading informations, since your settings are evidently out of standard. Thanks.
