OK, we will see what happens then. I' really new to Manjaro and the AUR system so if you feel like it I would appreciate, if and when possible, that you take ownership of this package. I may be able to make something work but that would require trial and error, which is kinda counter productive if the goal is to fix the package. Thanks.

We should not create another package for the same thing, therefore I created an orphan request. If it's accepted, one of us can take over.

The guy seems inactive since 2016-2017, so one of us may need to take ownership of this to update it properly, I've been waiting for a month that someone does it and nobody came to fix it.
Maybe creating another AUR package for the GitHub version may be another possibility?
