The package stopped working for me. When I run either DPR_Fcc_unlock_service or configservice_lenovo, they both fail with:

symbol lookup error: /opt/fcc_lenovo/lib/libmodemauth.so: undefined symbol: mbim_message_fibocom_at_command_set_new

Searching the internet for mbim_message_fibocom_at_command_set_new turns up no results at all. Does anyone know where we can find it and provide it to the programs?

For the people who have an L880 chip specifically, an unlock script has been created that works natively with ModemManager as a drop in so this tool is not needed.

hi, to whoever would like to take over this initiative, I feel like moving to support their new github based release setup here would be better? but also I don't have the time or energy to really start looking into it.

I'm in Germany using T-Mobile DE, feel free to contact me if you need a tester.

yeah I have a patch for that update, however I think it would be worth renaming the package when I push it.

Also, as I am in the US and the FCC unlock still isn't out for me, I cannot test it at all for any models including my own :(... so I'll just have to take people's word on if it works or not.

i technically need to rename this package to indicate that it now also supports unlooking for the Fibocom FM350 chip however I forget how to do this on the aur.

thanks for the tip! I just added it. And yeah I'm really just happy that Lenovo and others put in the effort to get this working. I'm in the US so unfortunately I can't use it yet, but hopefully soon.

Hi!

It did not work for me at first, showing the error (when executing the unlock binary manually):

sh: line 1: dmidecode: command not found

So I installed dmidecode package and all went smoother. I guess it should be added as a dependency.

This package is an absolute lifesaver. Thank you for that.
