I think, it's not about the package name but rather about the version check which fails for some reason. I had this problem with other packages already, but never found a better solution than just removing the version check...

That's strange, dbus-x11 should provide "dbus". Even here in Threshy "Dependencies" dbus-x11 is listed.
However since I don't use Arch anymore I can only speculate. Looking at PKGBUILD docs in Wiki there doesn't seem to be a way for a package to depend on one OR other package.
As a hack you can (probably?) just delete this dependency from Threshy's PKGBUILD...
Any ideas what's really wrong here?

I'm trying to update
aur/dbus-x11 1.14.4-1 -> 1.15.0-2
and getting
installing dbus-x11 (1.15.0-2) breaks dependency 'dbus>=1.12' required by threshy
