Arch repos just updated mercurial to 5.5.

There is a 5.5rc0 tagged in the repo on heptapod, perhaps this package should bump to that.

It looks like either:

would be considered the canonical upstream URL for TortoiseHg these days. The bitbucket web-site seems to not really be updated any more.

The mercurial package switched to Python 3 in 5.4.1-1. So this package works with either mercurial-python3>=5.3 or mercurial>=5.4.1. I don’t think this kind of dependency can be expressed in PKGBUILD. The mercurial-python3 AUR package maybe gets removed in the next days.

The problem was fixed for me after installing python-qscintilla-qt5 2.11.4-3.

I'm also still segfaulting on update after deleting the config file and after today's qt5-base update.

Eh, possibly spoke too soon. Main window comes up now, but core dumps again when I try and do an update. Sigh.

Tracked it down. Delete .config/TortoiseHg/TortoiseHgQt.ini and it works again.

@ecognito Yep, I'm seeing them too. Could be this: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/66887

edit: Sorry, just realised I'm linking you to your own bug report!

Further edit: My tracebacks don't seem to be about qscintilla. Otherwise very similar to yours. This is updating to a commit: https://pastebin.com/J9m2kAkB
